The scientific name for skunks is Mephitidae. There are 13 species of skunks. Here is one good infographic about skunks and a good infographic about tracking! The animal tracks one is from Michigan, but you can find all those animals here in Or-E-Gon too 🙂
Also, it seems the skunk infographic was made by the rodent guys (?)…the skunk is not a rodent. For more information on rodent culture here is a nice little mental floss article.
